$11 billion in assets, is seeking an experienced institutional
asset allocator to join its investment team. The Senior Investment
Officer (SIO) role is responsible for portfolio construction, asset
allocation, and risk management across a diversified, multi-asset
portfolio spanning public and private equity, fixed income, real
assets, and hedge funds. To thrive in this role, you must be
experienced in exercising independent judgment to shape both
strategic and tactical allocation decisions, be able to assess
macroeconomic and financial market conditions, identify relative
value across asset classes, and convert your conviction into
disciplined portfolio action. As SIO, you will be required to
utilize your expertise in tactical asset allocation, portfolio
construction, and risk management daily. You will lead the
implementation of allocation decisions through external investment
managers and portfolio-level adjustments using futures, while
serving as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders and external
advisors. As a senior leader, you will set the benchmark for
analytical excellence, drive strategic investment decisions, and
cultivate the growth and expertise of the investment team. Key
Responsibilities - Institutional Asset Allocation & Portfolio
Construction - Translate macro, valuation, momentum, and risk
signals into actionable portfolio positioning. - Manage portfolio
exposures relative to benchmarks, risk budget, liquidity
constraints, and investment policy guidelines. - Lead tactical
asset allocation discussion and decisions across public and private
markets within a policy-driven framework. - Execute allocation
decisions. - Research & Analysis - Conduct top-down research across
equities, fixed income, real assets, and positive convexity
strategies. - Assess relative value opportunities across asset
classes and sub-asset classes. - Develop and maintain analytical
tools, dashboards, and investment frameworks to support
decision-making. - Leadership & Governance Support - Supervise and
mentor investment staff; contribute to the development of a
high-performing investment team. - Prepare and present investment
strategy, allocation decisions, and performance analysis to the
investment team and stakeholders. - Support board-level reporting
and presentations, translating complex investment concepts into
clear, decision-useful insights. - Partner with investment, risk,
operations, and external advisory teams. Qualifications &
Experience - 7 years of experience in institutional investing,
asset allocation, or portfolio management. - Strong understanding
of capital markets, portfolio theory, and multi-asset investing. -
Experience working with public and/or private asset classes. -
Demonstrated ability to synthesize macro, valuation, and
quantitative inputs into portfolio strategy and construction. -
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience
presenting to senior stakeholders or boards. Education &
Credentials - Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics,
business, or a related field required. - Chartered Financial
Analyst (CFA) designation or master’s degree required. Salary:
?Starting at $197,000, negotiable based on experience,
