Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Divisional/Plant Controller to join our team on a
contract basis in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role requires a
skilled and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in
accounting operations, financial reporting, and manufacturing cost
accounting. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial
processes, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency across the
organization. Responsibilities: • Manage and monitor all accounting
operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,
payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger functions. • Ensure
compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and
internal company policies. • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and
annual financial close processes to produce accurate and timely
financial statements. • Conduct detailed financial analysis to
identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall operational
efficiency. • Oversee manufacturing cost accounting processes,
ensuring accurate allocation of costs and optimization of
resources. • Design, implement, and maintain robust internal
control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure data
integrity. • Collaborate with the FP& A team to provide actionable
insights and clean data for strategic business planning. • Serve as
the primary point of contact for external audits, ensuring thorough
preparation and compliance. • Enhance processes related to vendor
payments, customer collections, and cash conversion cycles. •
Assist with company-wide financial consolidations and ensure the
accuracy of journal entries and reconciliations.• Minimum of 5
years of experience in accounting or financial management roles,
preferably in a manufacturing environment. • Expertise in month-end
close processes and financial reporting. • Strong knowledge of
manufacturing cost accounting and cost allocation methods. •
Proficiency in managing controllership functions and maintaining
compliance with financial regulations. • Ability to analyze complex
financial data and provide actionable recommendations. • Experience
in designing and implementing internal controls and audit
processes. • Advanced skills in financial forecasting and modeling.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate
effectively across teams.
