Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a North American leader in environmental, energy,
and industrial services, is seeking a skilled Class A CDL /
Equipment Operator. Join our team to operate specialized equipment
in support of our hazardous waste disposal and emergency response
services. This role is crucial in maintaining safety operations and
contributing to our sustainability efforts throughout the industry.
Our ideal candidate is committed to safety standards, operational
efficiency, and environmental protection. Operate heavy equipment
such as excavators, backhoes, and bulldozers to manage hazardous
materials. Transport hazardous waste using heavy trucks in
compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Perform
routine inspection and maintenance on equipment to ensure efficient
operation. Respond to emergency spill situations to contain and
dispose hazardous substances. Collaborate with environmental
specialists to ensure adherence to all environmental laws and
policies. Document activities, service logs, and compliance records
clearly and comprehensively. Proficiency in operating CDL required
heavy machinery and equipment. Strong understanding of DOT and EPA
regulations regarding transport and handling of hazardous
materials. Ability to act swiftly and effectively in emergency
situations. Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Materials Endorsement. OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and
Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification preferred.
