Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician Pay/Shift 7:00am - 7:00pm working 4 days on and 4 days off ($31.50/hour) 7pm-7am 4 nights on 4 nights off (33.50/hr) Job Description The Maintenance Technician (Technical Specialist) is responsible for setups and maintenance of the production line for manufacturing home and garden products. Responsibilities Perform setups and changeovers of production line and production machinery and equipment. Maintain conveyors, gear boxes, motors, cappers, fillers, labeling, and packaging machines. Perform adjustments, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment to maximize run time on the line. Conduct mechanical troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairs on all breakdowns. Check quality of product throughout the process. Essential Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment performing general maintenance. Minimum 2 years of experience in setting up and running machinery and/or packaging lines. Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing packaging equipment. Minimum 2 years of experience performing setups and adjustments on machinery or equipment. Experience replacing motors and gearboxes. Ability to perform quality checks on machinery and product. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in high volume production lines is highly advantageous. Food industry experience is preferred, although not required. Basic electrical knowledge and experience is preferred, such as the ability to unwire/rewire a motor for repair or replacement. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing environment, working alongside general production workers, machine operators, and forklifts. Shifts include 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, working 4 days on and 4 days off, or 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, 4 nights on and 4 nights off. A 30-minute unpaid lunch break is included. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
