This is a direct placement, full time position with White Tank & Truck Repair. Schedule: Full Time, Overtime Available Position Overview White Tank & Truck Repair is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our growing team in Belleville, IL. We specialize in tank trailer service and repair, including dry bulk and liquid tank systems. This role focuses on trailer diagnostics, structural repair, ABS systems, and component installations. We are a small, tight-knit, family-owned shop that values long-term employees and strong technical ability. Compensation Entry-Level Technician: $20.61/hour Eligible for 5% increase every 6 months Veteran Technician: Up to $34.35/hour Additional $3.00–$3.50/hour premium pay available for higher-level skill sets Overtime paid at time-and-a-half Annual wage growth opportunities Benefits Fully paid health insurance $750 family deductible Company 401(k) contributions (no employee match required) Long-term, stable employment Clean, professional shop environment Responsibilities Tank trailer service and repair (dry bulk and liquid) ABS diagnostics and repair on trailers Air leak diagnostics and brake system repair Suspension and axle work Valve, gasket, and hose repairs Blower, pump, and hydraulic installations (when applicable) Welding and structural repair Trailer inspections and preventative maintenance Qualifications Experience working on tank trailers preferred Strong mechanical aptitude ABS troubleshooting experience Welding and fabrication skills a plus Dependable and team-oriented Looking for long-term career growth About White Tank & Truck Repair We are a family-owned repair facility located in Belleville, IL.
