Job Description:
This position holds the administrative title of Medical Director
for the SIU Medicine Express Care site. Incumbent will supervise
and manage Advanced Practice Clinicians (NP/PA) assigned to the
location. Incumbent will partner with consultants to implement
clinical policies and protocols. This position will ensure improved
quality, standardization and compliance to regulatory requirements.
Incumbent will provide direct patient care, service activities and
teaching of learners in the acute care setting.
