Pay Information $2,332 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year of critical care experience required License: Active state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Ventilator management, IV start, Telemetry Must-Have: Proficiency in managing complex postoperative patients required. Experience in handling multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia required. Epic charting experience required. Description: This position requires a registered nurse to work primarily in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The candidate will manage pre and post interventional radiology patients. Work shifts may rotate between 09:00-19:30 and 12:00-22:30. The nurse will care for surgical patients from various specialties including GU, GYN, colorectal, bariatric, and some ENT. The registered nurse will need to manage complicated postoperative patients effectively. All nurses must be skilled in addressing multiple complex cases, including managing patients in preoperative stages. No on-call, night, or weekend shifts are required, but such shifts may be available depending on staffing. The facility operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center.
