Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position/Specialty: CT Technologist Shift: 4x10 Evenings (12:00 PM - 10:30 PM) Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years First-Timers Accepted: Yes Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend and one night of call per week Certifications Required: ARRT, ARRT-CT, BLS, and active Illinois state license (or in application process with ETA) On-Call Requirements: Yes, on-call and holidays as needed Floating: No, clinician will not float within scope to meet facility needs Block Schedule: Discuss scheduling requests with manager Locals Accepted: Yes, no radius restriction RTO Restrictions: Discuss time-off requests with manager Guaranteed Hours: Up to 36 hours may be called off per 13-week assignment without pay. Additional canceled hours will be billed. On-call in lieu of cancellation counts as a called-off shift. Special Requirements: - Required Work Settings: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, Emergency Department, Level I Trauma - Abdomen and Pelvis CT Skills: Abdomen (with/without contrast), Pelvis (with/without contrast) - Chest CT Skills: Chest (with/without contrast), Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta) - Head and Neck CT Skills: Carotid, Head (with/without contrast), Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Trauma head - Image Display and Post-Processing Skills: 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering), Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), Region of interest measurement (ROI) - Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Preparation/administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs, Venipuncture - Special Procedure Skills: Coronary CTA - Spine and Musculoskeletal CT Skills: Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, Thoracic About iDEAL Hire iDeal Travel Staffing is dedicated to working with the best of the best in travel healthcare.
