to find a qualified Wound/Ostomy RN in Saint Louis, Missouri,

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid
state license required Certifications: BLS, WOCN in hand at the
time of submittal Must-Have: - Hospital experience - Colostomy care
and management - Continence skin care management - Pressure ulcer
management - Wound assessment and treatment Description: The
position involves working 4 ten-hour shifts from 07:30 to 18:00.
Currently, this role is Monday through Friday, with no required
nights, weekends, or holidays. The candidate must have at least 2
years of experience in wound care. First-time travelers are
accepted. No weekend shifts are required for this role. Candidates
must possess BLS and WOCN certifications at the time of submittal.
Skills required include hospital experience in various wound care
management procedures. Specific wound care skills include
assessments, staging, infection control, and collaboration with
other departments. The responsibilities also entail teaching
patients and families about wound care and ostomy management. The
position does not require on-call duties. Candidates must be
willing to float within their scope to meet facility needs as
necessary. Candidates must reside outside a specified radius from
the facility. Pending licenses may be accepted for this position.
Orientation and training are necessary components before starting.
Compliance with health and safety precautions is expected. All work
performed must meet established standards of care. Candidates
should be prepared to carry out additional duties as assigned.
