The Ultrasound Intern will work under the supervision of experienced radiologists and ultrasound technologists to assist in the daily operations of ultrasound procedures. This position provides hands-on training and exposure to diagnostic imaging techniques, with a focus on learning the practical and theoretical aspects of ultrasound technology. The intern will assist in preparing patients, operating ultrasound equipment, and ensuring smooth workflow in the ultrasound department. Position Details: Find your calling at Mercy! The Ultrasound Intern will work under the supervision of licensed sonographers, radiologists, and the Radiology Manager to assist in the daily operations of the ultrasound department. This position provides hands?on training and exposure to diagnostic sonography techniques, with a focus on developing both the practical and theoretical foundations of ultrasound technology. The intern will assist with patient preparation, support sonographers during examinations, help maintain workflow by stocking and preparing rooms, and continue growing in general and vascular ultrasound. This position is open to candidates currently enrolled in an accredited ultrasound program. Position Details: Ultrasound Intern PRN Mercy Hospital South Minimum Qualifications: Education: Currently enrolled in certified Ultrasound Training Program or in a school of ultrasound imaging.
