Must-Have: Cath lab experience required Description: The position
is for a registered nurse in a cardiac cath lab. The shift is 8
hours long, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The
nurse will be on-call one day a week and every 3rd to 4th weekend.
First-timers are accepted for this role. Weekend requirements are
expected. The nurse will be required to take call 24/7. The
position does not require floating outside of the unit. Local
candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius. Pending
licenses are accepted. Experience in procedural sedation
administration and monitoring is necessary. Nurses should be
proficient in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
Circulating procedures are part of the responsibilities. Daily
patient census averages around 10 visits. Patient demographics
include adults with various cardiac diagnoses. Special procedures
include cardiac catheterizations, TAVR, AAA, ICDs, pacemakers,
TEEs, cardioversion, IMPELLA, and STEMI management. Special
equipment utilized in the unit includes IABP and Angiojet.
Candidates will need to provide two supervisory references from the
last two years. Candidates will float within the service line as
