Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night Med/Surg position requiring a MO or compact RN license and recent specialty experience. Responsibilities - Work in hospital-based Med/Surg units, specifically 7 East Medical Telemetry and 7 West Medical - Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - Patient population includes general medical and telemetry cases - 13-week contract assignment - Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the contract - Blocked scheduling may be considered based on facility needs - Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible but subject to local contract terms - After 3 consecutive 13-week local contracts, a 1-year break or transition to another facility outside 50 miles is required - First time travelers are welcome to apply Requirements - Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration - Current BLS certification required with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days unless renewal documentation is provided - Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required - No gaps in employment exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months - Valid U.S. Social Security Number required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-663145.
