a qualified Psych RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110! Job Title:

Minimum 1 year License: Valid state license required at time of
submission Certifications: BLS, CPI Must-Have: - Geriatric

Medical/Psychiatric experience - Substance use/Chemical dependency
experience - Medication administration skills - Starting and
maintaining IVs - Blood glucose monitoring - Foley catheter
insertion and maintenance Description: The Registered Nurse will
work in a behavioral health setting. The shift requires a 1:6
patient ratio during day shifts. First-time travelers are accepted,
but clinical screening is required. Weekend work is required every
other weekend. Candidates must have experience with adult
psychiatric populations and geriatric patients. Some patients may
have co-morbid medical conditions that require a medical-surgical
approach. Common diagnoses include dementia, depression,
Parkinson's disease, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. The
role includes responsibilities such as pre-operative preparation
for ECT and application of restraints. The Registered Nurse will
also work as charge nurse as needed and will float within service
lines as required. Candidates must be experienced with electronic
charting systems. All applicants must have a valid SSN and DOB.
References are required at the time of submission. Each traveler
will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as
needed. It is essential to have experience with the specified
skills. All certifications required must be obtained by the
compliance deadline. The position involves a daily census of
