Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BCLS and NIH required Must-Have: - 2 years of experience preferred - Telemetry monitoring experience - IV management skills - Understanding of isolation precautions/PPE Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in neuro medical-surgical care during night shifts. The nurse will manage patient care for a diverse adult patient population with neurological and orthopedic conditions. Ratios are maintained at 1:6. The nurse should be comfortable floating to other units, excluding specific high-acuity areas. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Candidates must be able to demonstrate essential telemetry skills and proficiency in using the related equipment. Acceptance of first-time travelers is possible. The ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team is crucial for success in this role. Compliance and adherence to safety protocols and procedures are expected.
