Job Description:

SSM Health, a revered Catholic, not-for-profit health system, is seeking a dedicated and skilled RN-Cardiac Cath Lab to join our team. This vital role involves working in our state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Lab, where our commitment is to provide top-notch, compassionate care. You will be part of a dynamic team that is instrumental in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization. Monitor patient vital signs and physical condition throughout procedures. Administer medications as directed by the physician during cardiac procedures. Prepare patients for catheterization, vascular procedures, and explain treatment procedures. Maintain and operate cardiac monitoring devices and other medical equipment. Document patient treatment and intervention data into the healthcare information system. Provide post-procedural care and educate patients and their families on follow-up care. Proficient in cardiac care nursing. Ability to operate complex medical machinery. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong observational and detail-oriented skills. Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of practice. BLS certification. ACLS certification preferred. Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is a plus.
