Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based
Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Springfield, IL,
offering a contract position with the option for part-time work.
This role provides a chance to support students developmental and
therapeutic needs within an educational setting. Responsibilities:
- Assess and plan individualized occupational therapy interventions
for students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and
functional independence. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and
other professionals to develop and implement therapy goals. -
Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as necessary. -
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school regulations.
Qualifications: - Valid Occupational Therapist license. -
Experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -
Ability to work independently within a school environment.
