ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - MICU Job Details: • Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in the Cardiac Medical Intensive Care Unit • 13-week assignment with 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours (must be specified on submission) • Weekend hours as required by facility, every other weekend • No call requirements • Patient ratio of 1:2 in a 22-bed unit • May be floated to other stepdown units based on staffing needs • Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation • Required licensure: Current RN License eligible for Missouri licensure • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS • Preferred certification: TNCC • 3 years Cardiac and/or Medical ICU experience required, inpatient only • CVI experience recovering open hearts directly from OR preferred • Work with equipment including Impella, IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal cooling device, Arctic Sun • EMR system: EPIC • Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory conditions, post cardiac arrest, GI bleed, DKA, PE, renal failure, liver failure, pancreatitis, overdose, and suicidal ideations • Dress code: Black scrubs only, no hats, non-facility jackets/sweatshirts, or air pods • Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift, significant bending/stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance Facility: This healthcare facility has been serving the South St. Louis County area for more than 140 years, earning a B grade in The Leapfrog Group's Fall 2025 Hospital Safety Grade.
