Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Saint Louis, Missouri,

Experience: 1 year License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS
from AHA only Must-Have: 1 year Med Surg, inpatient only
Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient
care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other
direct care givers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with
other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of
patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities
consistent with the organization's mission and values. Performs
direct patient care activities for all age groups. Includes
assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary
departments. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and
established guidelines of nursing practice. Meets unit specific
physical demands while on duty. Significant bending, stooping, and
lifting of patients with assistance may be required. May be
required to work differing schedules or shifts based on patient
care needs. High risk exposure to blood and body fluids exists.
Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping weights up
to 50 lbs. Utilizes the nursing process for patients post trauma,
surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities. Maintains
professional accountability for patient care provision. Evaluates
care effectiveness provided by other caregiving staff. Coordinates
patient care in conjunction with other departments. Adheres to
confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and
responsibilities in alignment with the mission and values of the
