Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Belleville, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,300 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BCLS required; NIH preferred Must-Have: Heavy lifting experience required Orthopedic experience required Experience in proficient orthopedic totals and fractures Description: This position is for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nurse on a night shift. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care on a unit with a patient ratio of 1:5-6. Candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in the specialty are preferred. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Every other weekend is required for work. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is preferred. There are no on-call requirements for this role. The clinician may be required to float within the service line as needed. This role includes care for adults and geriatrics, focusing on orthopedic surgeries and stable fractures, as well as neurosurgery and pain management. Interdisciplinary support includes services such as physical therapy and respiratory services. The nurse must be experienced in orthopedic procedures, including total joint surgeries and neuro surgeries.
