Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel
nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN
- Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week -
Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job
Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A
minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is
required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks.
Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial
assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN -
MICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM
to 7:30 AM /n• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours (must be
indicated on submission form) /n• 13-week assignment length /n•
Weekend hours required every other weekend /n• No call requirements
/n• Patient ratio: 1:2 in a 22-bed cardiac medical intensive care
unit /n• 3 years Cardiac Medical ICU experience required (inpatient
only) /n• CVI experience with recovering open hearts directly from
OR required /n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA
only, NIHSS /n• Preferred certification: TNCC /n• Current RN
License (must meet criteria for Missouri licensure or currently
licensed in Missouri) /n• May be floated to other stepdown units
depending on staffing needs /n• Equipment experience: Impella,
IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal cooling device, Arctic Sun /n•
EMR system: EPIC /n• Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory
conditions, post cardiac arrest, GI bleed, DKA, PE, renal failure,
liver failure, pancreatitis, overdose, suicidal ideations, CIWA /n•
Dress code: Black scrubs only /n• Night shift orientation conducted
on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation /n•
Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
/n• Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift,
significant bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients with
assistance /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility has been
