4/27/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with
Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Saint Louis,
Missouri, 63110! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of experience required License: Valid
state license required Certifications: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), ACLS
Must-Have: Oncology experience required Administration of
chemotherapy experience required Telemetry interpretation and
management of dysrhythmias required Chemotherapy certification
required Description: BMT Oncology position available. Oncology and
chemotherapy experience are required. Candidates must pass an EKG
exam for telemetry interpretation. Floating to units with the
greatest need will be required. The nurse to patient ratio is 4:1
for all shifts. The average daily census is 30 patients. Every
other weekend is required. Auto stem cell transplants and
chemotherapy administration are part of the job responsibilities.
Candidates must be certified in chemotherapy administration. The
following skills are essential: Accessing and managing ports,
administration of blood and blood products, central line blood
draw, central line and implanted line care, PICC line care,
starting and maintaining IVs, administering antibiotics and
antiemetics, and Foley catheter insertion and management. Knowledge
of isolation precautions and telemetry monitoring is necessary.
Additional skills include recognizing and managing side effects of
therapies, handling body fluids post-chemotherapy, and managing
complications such as graft-versus-host disease and tumor lysis
syndrome. Inpatient oncology nursing experience is required. All
RNs must obtain ACLS certification by the compliance deadline
established. References from prior supervisory roles preferred. All
travelers will float within the oncology service line as needed. 5
