Louis, Missouri, 63128! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN

Certifications: BLS from AHA; ACLS from AHA preferred Must-Have: 2
years of inpatient experience in Med Surg Description: Utilizes the
nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional
accountability for the provision of patient care. Evaluates the
overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient
information. Performs direct patient care activities for all age
groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and
evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with
ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent
with the established guidelines of nursing practice. Meets
unit-specific physical demands and may be required to work
differing schedules, shifts, or days of the week according to
patient care requirements. May have high-risk exposure to blood and
body fluids. Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and
gripping up to 50 lbs. Involves bending and stooping, as well as
lifting and turning patients with assistance. Must be dependable
and flexible in a team environment. Employee will be required to
maintain compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
