required, will not accept ARMRIT Certifications: BLS, ARRT MR
Must-Have: First-time travelers accepted Experience with inpatient
and outpatient settings Experience with a variety of scans
including brain, body, and spine Description: Schedule is Monday,
Wednesday, and Thursday with call every 3-4 weeks. Travelers must
shave for a mask to seal for fit testing. CAPRs and PAPRs are not
provided. Travelers cannot use their own PAPRs or CAPRs. There are
no exceptions to the fit testing policy. Failure to shave for fit
testing will result in a cancellation. Daily caseload includes
approximately 11 exams per scanner. Special equipment includes
Siemens Aera 1.5t and Siemens Skyra 3.0t. Travelers will need to
complete an OSHA respirator clearance prior to the start. All
clinicians cannot work past one year as a traveler. A six-month
break must be taken in order to return as a traveler. Modules must
be completed pre-start and are recorded on transcripts.
