Position Purpose: Represents the Data Governance in assigned data domains to apply Data Ownership & Stewardship structure, evaluate and remediate Data Quality issues, curate the data catalog with data domain/system related definitions and knowledge, and lead owners and stewards in implementing key Data Governance initiatives as part of enterprise initiatives.Serves as the Data Governance Representative for Data Domain to lead workgroup meetings and complete charterPerforms data analysis through development of code for data domain related needsDevelops presentations through delivery of results to the internal teamsProduces the curation of data catalog for data domainEducation/Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, mathematics, computer science, information management, health management, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or related field with 6 years of experience as a Data Governance Specialist III or similarStrong aptitude for learning new tools and processes relevant to analysis, governance, and reporting on complex data in a dynamic environmentAbility to effectively manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines while maintaining high standardsExpert on Data Governance principlesKnowledge of business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assetsExperience working with large databases, data verification, and data managementExperience with complex data profiling and analysisDemonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointDemonstrated ability to independently develop complex queries using SQL or other coding languagesStrong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Our Comprehensive Benefits Package: Flexible work solutions including remote options, hybrid work schedules and dress flexibility, Competitive pay, Paid time off including holidays, Health insurance coverage for you and your dependents, 401(k) and stock purchase plans, Tuition reimbursement and best-in-class training and development.
