  • Boeing Global Services businessesPosition Responsibilities:
    • Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
    • Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
    • Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
    • Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Works under general supervision.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. - The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
      • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
        • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
        • The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
        • 2+ years' experience performing stress analysis using both hand calculations and finite element tools
        • Currently reside in OR willing to relocate to St. Louis, MissouriPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
          • An active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
          • 2+ years' experience working with aircraft stress analysis/structural analysis
          • Boeing analysis tools (CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanica, Common Structures Workstation) experienceTypical Education/Experience: Level 2: -Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Level 4:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
