Job Description:

You could be the one who changes everything for our 26 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time.

Our product management corporate office is seeking undergraduate level interns for the Summer 2023 program. As an intern, you will work with a cross-functional team focused on solving complex business and technical challenges facing the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop a good understanding of relevant business processes, goals, and strategies to supply targeted recommendations supported by data analysis
- Show opportunities to address key challenges affecting our business and improve ongoing operations
- Research and analyze available data to identify gaps or trends that support critical decisions, product development efforts or the utilization of current programs; collaboratively develop hypotheses and present recommendations to leaders
- Perform data analysis (data mining) and research, as appropriate, to support business needs
- Create written and oral communication materials that effectively summarize findings, support fact-based recommendations, and substantiate conclusions
- Present project findings to multiple internal audiences and incorporate feedback to enhance analysis, recommendations, and deliverables
- Assess the end-to-end project delivery process and available data to identify gaps or inefficiencies, present recommendations and quantify the impact of proposed changes
- Profile available organizational datasets and assess stakeholder needs to design, prototype, and build presentations that supply actionable insights to key audiences

Qualifications
- Experience in conducting structured data analysis and data visualization
- Analytical skills with proven ability to review data and make fact-based decisions and/or recommendations
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and teams to ensure work is completed
- Intermediate/Advanced skills with 0365 Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and MSFT Teams
- Ability to work remotely and attend various meetings along with key ceremonies

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
