Job Description Job Description IIA is seeking experienced NDT
Level II Technicians to join our lab in St. Louis, MO . We
currently require candidates with their CWI and/or Level II
certification in UT Shear Wave . Position Summary The technician
will perform hands-on Non-Destructive Testing at customer sites and
/ or at the lab in St. Louis. Most of the projects supported are
local to the St. Louis area with only a few being out of town. The
applicable NDT method will be performed; the integrity of the item
inspected will be assessed with respect to codes, standards and
specifications; and the results reported accordingly. Additionally,
the technician will support other associated tasks such as job
preparation, coordination, mobilization / demobilization, and
reporting as directed by their supervisor. This is a full-time
position that will support a minimum of 40 hours per week . If NDT
work is not available, the technician will support other areas of
the lab to ensure 40 hours of work per week. Other benefits we

Responsibilities Perform hands on NDT / NDE work interfacing with
the customer and directing / training Technician Assistants /
Apprentices based on the specific work scope. Ensure work and used
materials are compliant with manufacturer and customer
specifications. Ensure compliance with all safety and quality
procedures, laws, regulations, and customer requirements. Own
personal and overall job site safety, stopping the job if required
due to unsafe conditions or lack of compliance with quality
requirements. Perform day to day and routine safety observations
and inspections. Perform pre-job preparations of equipment, job
walkdowns, procedural reviews, etc. as required by the specific
work scope. Perform post-job equipment, job walkdowns, procedural
reviews, etc. as required by the specific work scope for the
completed work and future work scheduled / planned. Complete
applicable job reports and other paperwork as required / instructed
on or before the required date as communicated by the applicable
IIA representative. Qualifications Required: Certified Welding
Inspector (CWI) and/or Level II UT Shear Wave certification. Must
have the legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Must
have and maintain a current valid driver’s license. Take and pass
all pre-employment screening, including background and initial and
future random drug screening. Education: High School diploma or
equivalent Experience & Skills: Provide verifiable evidence of
certification, OJT hours, and / or completion of ASNT recommended
training program. Meet or exceed quality program requirements for
work experience on the applicable method and total work experience
for the NDT method and level. Understand mechanical concepts and
spatial relationships. Knowledge of basic math. Able to read,
comprehend, and prepare technical specifications and procedures.
Good interpersonal skills for daily interaction with customers and
fellow employees. Ability to use basic software and Outlook to
generate service reports and communicate within the company,
including skills to navigate web-based service literature and
programs. Preferred CWI strongly preferred. Certifications in other
methods such as RT, MT, PT, and VT. About Us Industrial Inspection
