Job Description Job Description The Animal Medical Center of Mid-America is seeking two skilled and mission-driven Part-Time Surgical Veterinarians to join our team. This role focuses on providing high-quality, high-volume spay and neuter surgeries for both shelter animals and owned pets through our vital subsidized community programs. Competitive Compensation: Up to $120/hour , depending upon experience. Ideal Work-Life Balance: Surgery hours are negotiable and occur between 9am–2pm, Monday through Friday , which is perfect for parents, those semi-retired, or veterinarians looking to supplement their income without evening or weekend commitments. Mission-Driven: You'll be working with both shelter animals awaiting their forever homes and pets from the community through subsidized programs. Impact: Support the Humane Society of Missouri's mission to end pet overpopulation. Facility: We offer surgery at our Maryland Heights and Macklind facilities. AMCMA is AAHA-accredited , ensuring you have the high-quality equipment and support staff needed to focus on your surgical work.
