registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. A nursing role on the Stepdown Unit is open in
Florissant, MO, for qualified Registered Nurses with a minimum of
two years' experience. This contract opportunity provides a chance
to contribute to acute care in a supportive environment, working
primarily night shifts with a manageable weekend rotation.
Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to stepdown
patients, including managing titration of vasopressors, sedation
medications, insulin drips, tracheostomies, ventilators, arterial
lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes. - Maintain bedside
presence with up-to-date clinical skills, having worked at the
bedside within the past six months. - Float within scope to assist
lower acuity floors as needed, ensuring flexible and responsive
patient care. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using EPIC
charting to document care accurately. - Adhere to a 1:4 patient
ratio, promoting safe and efficient patient monitoring.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Current RN license with at
least 2 years of bedside experience. - Certifications required:
ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale. - Experience with acute care
interventions mentioned above. - Ability to work night shifts (7 PM
- 7:30 AM) three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 guaranteed
hours. - Willingness to commit to weekend rotations every other
weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday). - Ability to float
within the facilitys needs. - Pending licenses within 75 miles of
Florissant are accepted. Location Details:Florissant, MO, is a
