Perfusionist Location: Springfield, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $5,886 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Perfusionist Profession: Perfusionist Specialty: Perfusionist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:30 - 15:00) Experience: Minimum 4 years preferred; first-timers accepted License: State License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Weekend call rotation approximately every 5th weekend with possible holiday coverage. Open to accommodating block schedule; discuss scheduling requests with the manager. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Floating is required within the facility or to nearby affiliates. Description: Position is for a Perfusionist working days. Minimum 4 years of experience preferred. Candidates who have not worked in this role prior are accepted. Candidates will be expected to rotate on call for weekends approximately every fifth weekend with potential holiday coverage. State licensure and Basic Life Support certification are required. Candidates must be able to accommodate floating as needed. RTO restrictions ideally limit time off to no more than 5 days. The facility is an acute care hospital with 562 beds and is a Level I trauma center. Candidates should be comfortable with various procedures and equipment related to perfusion services, including but not limited to cardiac assist devices and cardiopulmonary bypass techniques. Candidates must have strong skills in patient monitoring, anticoagulation management, and temperature management. Charting is performed in a specified electronic system.
